TLDR - friendly staff and good communication, didn’t feel pressured for service however appraised cost and recommended services were more costly and somewhat unnecessary. I used this shop as they had great reviews online and I was looking for an auto center close to home. They had an available appointment for my engine light on to be diagnosed earlier than other nearby shops - so I went ahead and booked. The problem was appropriately diagnosed for the predetermined fee. However I left the vehicle there the night before (available to them first thing in the morning) and didn’t receive an update on the car until 5pm - shortly before they close. For the 1-2 hours of labour I was charged I was hopeful that I could’ve picked up the car same day (ended up picking it up the next day - shuttle service was timely and effective so no biggie). The problem seems accurately diagnosed - but the suggested repair cost was $200-250 more expensive than the same fix when I asked the Toyota dealership for the exact same repair (toyota Camry repair). I was also recommended to replace my spark plugs as scheduled maintenance, even though after investigation these spark plugs are iridium and as per Toyota’s recommendations - they do not need to be replaced until 192k km (my vehicle being only approximately 145k - seems a little premature). They also recommended a host of other fluid related flushes for preventative maintenance - which was not pressured but only suggested. In the end, this seems like a very well run auto shop but cheaper prices at the car dealership for the same service (surprising to me!) would lend me to go to them directly.

I had a great experience at Glenwood for my out of province SGI inspection. They were clear and honest with me going into this inspection that Saskatchewan standards are tough, and they did a great job explaining everything as well.

Try squeeze every last dollar from ya. Had trouble with my car and had asked not to do an inspection, after agreeing not to glenwood continued to do the inspection and then charge me $500 for it. 😂👍

Rob was great. He listened to all of my concerns regarding my vehicle. They were able to diagnose the issue quickly and throughly. My vehicle is actually running better than it ever has. I would highly recommend Glenwood
